Chicago Motorcycle Show 2007

The Tail of the Dragon visited the Chicago Motorcycle Show for the first time in February 2007. It was some kind of cold, but the show was packed all three days. Saw many of our good friends from the Windy City and had a great time.

Some of the highlights:

Our booth was packed just about the entire show except when the Ball of Steel guys were performing.

Ron donned a bear suit so he could hug all the women. In his dreams !!!!

We got some new under leather wear from Bodz and Sokz. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter ........ North Carolina winter that is.

Nice paint on this one.
Dragon Slayer vest.
Cute Harley paint.

Lots of vintage bikes
Fastest production 1000. MV Agusta F4-1000. 187.726 mph on one salt flat run.

The Reaper with back-lighted plastic by Gator Customs. Bike features Peek-a-boo nitrous in hump, rear view camera, Hahn Racecraft turbo system, titanium exhaust, Gladiator Wheels, remote air suspension, and Tobin custom seat.

This chromed CBR with DVD video in the trunk was interesting.
Boots shined with a smile and a song.
Ron with a Brat swimming in saurcraut at the Cheese and Brat Stop in Kenosha, Wisconsin

We saw this new, sleek Airstream camper and cycle hauler called the Basecamp at the Chicago Motorcycle Show. Check one out if you get a chance. They are compact and look like they just landed. Large enough for one motorcycle or 4-wheeler. Larger models that will haul two cycles are under development. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

The new super sleek Victory touring bike.

Great T-shirt seen at the show. Front and back.

We brought our swim suits, but decided against a polar bear swim with temps in the single digits.

Even the canals were frozen over. Chicago was still a beautiful city. We were impressed, especially with the steaks at Harry Caray's.
