This series of photos of a Blount County Sheriff Traffic Enforcement Car were taken on July 14, 2007. CLICK HERE TO ENLARGE

This officer is in violation of Tennessee law 55-8-141. "Turning on curve or crest of grade prohibited — Penalty. — (a) No vehicle shall be turned so as to proceed in the opposite direction upon any curve, or upon the approach to or near the crest of a grade, where such vehicle cannot be seen by the driver of any other vehicle approaching from either direction within five hundred feet (500"). (b) A violation of this section is a Class C misdemeanor. " This law does not state any exclusions. The maximum distance to see around this corner is 200 feet. The car does not even have any emergency lights activated until the turn is completed and it is heading southbound. Yet these officers are protecting the public safety??? CLICK HERE TO ENLARGE

Here is the sequence of the Trooper pulling me over for absolutely nothing.
I was following three cars at 30 mph and he had no way of seeing me from this distance to suspect a violation.
WE JUST FIGURED OUT WHO THIS IS !!! IT'S WRONG LANE LEO HIMSELF. CHECK-OUT THE CAR
I was singled out simply because I was riding a motorcycle. Ron, Tail of the Dragon

Tennessee Highway Patrol ignoring violation

This THP unit completely ignores the SUV that is some 4 feet over the double yellow line. Guess he was too busy waiting for me to cross it on the motorcycle. Bet he would have pulled me over. I have the complete video sequence and still shots identifying the trooper if the gov is interested. Sunday June 22, 2008.

These two photos (above/below) were sent to us by Kevin Fitzgerald who was at Tabcat Bridge about 3 pm on August 12.. He observed the THP car above using radar at vehicles coming off the Dragon. Suddenly the car pulled from hiding toward the pavement and forced an oncoming motorcycle to the center of the roadway narrowly missing an oncoming car. In the photo at bottom you can see the northbound motorcycle and the southbound car just behind the THP car. It's a wonder the trooper didn't cite the rider for crossing the double yellow !!! It is hard to tell, but this could be the reckless Wrong Lane Leo again.

And yet another !!!
Anyone ticketed for crossing the double yellow should take these photos to court with them and present them to the judge.

I was taking some nice early morning shots of the distant mountains Saturday when guess who shows up? Wrong Lane Leo. Can't the THP get this guy a few days off for his hazardous driving? How many tickets did THP give to tourists for this same violation? Got his plates this time in case the Governor is interested. See the photos at bottom of page of me getting pulled-over .... it's Wrong Lane Leo !!!

Just a few minutes earlier one of Blount County's finest crossed the double yellow. I got picts of this guy's plates if Sheriff Berrong is interested. Hint ... Bow, Wow. Wonder if the deputy wrote himself up. He was at the Overlook writing tourists for silly license plate violations much of the day.
GOT A TICKET IN BLOUNT COUNTY??? CALL THE CLERK OF COURT FOR A ONCE A YEAR $10 TICKET - NO JOKE ..... CALL AND FIND OUT

Here's another one to take to court.

And even another Saturday August 11.

And a touch that would get any other driver a ticket on Friday August 24, 2007

Okay Gov. who gives the LEOs tickets for crossing the double yellow? From video taken Saturday August 4, 2007 VIDEO HERE

Photo in another corner of what appears to be the same THP car well over the double yellow. CLICK HERE TO ENLARGE Note this car and the shot below, another frame in the video. The low light bar, antenna on side of car, hubcaps, no sticker in rear window or rear bumper and no ramming bar in front. Also note front plate in bottom pic. Sorry the images are not good enough to read the rear license plate. The Gov should be able to narrow down which Trooper is endangering the public here.

A ticket for holding a "television related device" while driving even though it has no viewfinder and the video display was closed. These troopers will go out of their way to harass the general public. Fine bunch you got there Tennessee. Guess you have no real crime in the state. Citizens and businesses should be outraged at the abuses going on in their state. CLICK HERE FOR THE VIDEO.

Here are the "TV related devices" used by the "lawless". The Sony DCR-SR42 and DCR-SR82 have no viewfinder and are smaller than a Coke can. I turn on the videos and do not have to touch them as they continuously run for up to 7 hours saving data to a hard drive. A cell phone has a visible screen when in use, has a video/photo capability, has audio and needs to be operated. Which is more "TV related"?

Here is the Cycle Leo with back-up stopping to make sure that I was okay. It made me feel much safer to know they are watching out for me.
