There's a new spot in town for all the camping Dragon slayers! Just opened - family owned and built campground along the banks of Sweetwater Creek just minutes from Robbinsville NC. Full hookup RV sites, ADA accessible cabins, ADA accessible bathhouse. RV sites are BIG RIG friendly and are equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, and wi-fi. Cabins are 1 bedroom with kitchenette and bathroom.
Only 20 miles to Tail of the Dragon and 12 miles to Cherohala Skyway.

The 2024 SCCA Dragon Hill Climb is nearly here and this is a great one for those looking to check out an impressive uphill race in the heart of the forest.
This year's event has the largest number of pre-registrations in the event's history, so you're going to want to plan ahead.
The 2024 SCCA Dragon Hill Climb will take place on Saturday and Sunday, July 27th and 28th.

Joe Helton we should've stopped here we passed it plenty of times
I have stayed there truly a enchanting experience sleeping creekside with the windows open and waking early to huge Buffett breakfast and riding the dragon 2-3 times before the stores even open or the first photographer shows up. If you haven’t yet put it on your to do list even if you have already done the dragon.
I’m afraid to ask how much it must cost a night for accommodation … been from Canada you can tack on 40% .. probably looking between Sunday to Wednesday .

Love this place .I have stayed there and or eaten there on the river many many times. And yeah, now everybody quit talking about it. Getting hard to get a room.
