July 11 – The area is back into the normal summer weather routines of brief afternoon widely scattered thunder storms. We emphasize “brief” and “scattered”. Plan you day with riding until mid-afternoon and taking a break when the afternoon storms roll in. They are usually gone in 30-45 minutes and the skies clear for you to get back on the road. Thunderstorms can be heavy on one side of the county and no rain at all on the other side.
Lots of activity during the recent holidays, but things have settled back down to normal traffic.
