It looks like the heat will be easing up by next week (October 6). It has been hot and dry since forever it seems. The 10-day forecast is calling for afternoon showers, but the chance is less than 50% which means rain will be isolated and short lived. We still have 6 to 7 weeks of good riding before the action slows in mid-November. The Dragon/US129 is open year round and even on the coldest days you can have fun in a car. The T-shirt Shack at the Big Metal Dragon will be open through November 10.
